Turbo Jam Rocks! (..Did My First Pull Up Ever)

If was one of my goals to be able to do a pull up. Back in school when we had physical fitness testing they would always have us do pull ups as one of the tests and I never could.

Recently I had decided to make it one of my fitness goals to be able to do at least 1 pull up. My little brother installed a pull up bar in his doorway to his room so a couple of times when I had been to my moms house I would try to do a pull up but I couldn't do it and I couldn't even get very far up either though I could jump up.

I was inspired by an infomercial for Brazillian Butt Lift another Beachbody product. I have been using Turbo Jam by Chalene Johnson. The Turbo Jam is the first program I tried before joining the gym to get started loosing weight because as I have said on other blogs in my story I had gone from about 135 or so after high school to 175 and had seen my friends personal trainner and been told I needed to loose some of my body fat percentage because I was up to about 40% body fat.

I have actually been using the Turbo Jam videos a lot more lately and was inspired after I had been looking on the Beachbody site and was looking at the one she created called Chalean Extreme and it mentioned something about her showing you how to start adding more and more weight and how to shed the body fat and that day I decided that I would start to do the Turbo Sculpt workout in my Turbo Jam series that I have but I was going to increase my weights. I usually use 5lbs so I decided to do 10lbs instead. The first time I did the workout I was able to get through maybe half and had to switch back to the 5 lbs but there were a few that I did near the end where I used the 10lbs again.  The next day I had a rest day and the following day I was only able to do 10 mins of the workout before having to get ready for work. The next day was actually today a rest day.

Today is when I went to my Mom's house to visit and talk as I like doing when I need to get some help with problems. So I while I was there my mom actually was working out on the treadmill and using my lil bros weights and doing a little bit of working out and so I did some pushups with her as well and then my lil bro challenged me to do 25 and I was already tired out from doing a set of 10 and the other set of 10 only on my knees. So I was only able to do 20 instead of 25 then I stopped. It was only a few minutes after this I went to the bar in his bedroom door way and put my hands on the bar and all the way up I went I was so totally amazed I actually screamed out pretty loudly!

After the first I did 2 more but to do 3 pull ups was an absolute miracle for me. I even tried to do some chin ups and did manage 1 and a half and by that time I was increadibly tired out.

I absolutely love the Turbo Jam workouts and I look forward to buying more of them. I really want to get the ball workouts and I want that one that didn't come with my package that is geared more toward the butt. Of course I have also changed the way I eat as well but with the package I bought there are some tips for healthy eating and the one I got included the 10 day start plan and I actually did follow it and that is what got me started on the right track to making healthier choices in my diet.

I have been working online to build up my online business and I am learning about online marketing and one of the main ways to make money is affiliate marketing so I joined the Amazon Assocites program because I love these particular products so much and I wanted to share them with others and make a bit of extra money so.

So I highly recommened any of the Turbo Jam workout DVD's and I have my favorite picks in the awesome widget below this...

My World is Full of Magic I Create!

While I have been doing a lot of work to try to get my business up and running and start making some money I have also been working on my personal growth and development and have learned quite a lot about the law of attraction and manifesting my desires.

I recently read "Real Magic" by Dr. Wayne Dyer also didn't finish the end cus I had to return to the library LOL though I plan on reading the last little bit whether at the bookstore or back at the library again! The reason I mention this is because I have been working on using a lot of the things I learned and read about in that book as well as the many others relating to this subject from manifesting to success principles to laws of success and thinking and growing rich.

Sometimes for example on my short 5 min drive from this apartment to the disneyland cast member parking lot I will kinda like will all the lights to change green for me and sometimes they will change for me right when I get right up to the car who is stopped in front of me. I was thinking about it the other day and I imagined that I had this power to click the light to green with just my mind. Also yesterday before leaving I said or asked for my favorite parking space and not have to go too far and when I did arrive I almost past by it because I didn't realize it would be waiting for me there just as I had asked for it before I left my house.

I am also trying to use the science of getting rich and do things in a certain way. As well as learning and reading think and grow rich.

I just wanted to share a little bit about all the magic I create because I am going through a difficult time right now with my financial situation but as I look at these little magical creations that I make happen I am given evidence and I know with absolute truth and unwavering faith that I have the power inside of me to create the results I want and to obtain my dreams of financial freedom as I act in a certain way each day working toward recieving all the riches that I know are already on their way to me.

There is so much that I would like to share on this blog but I am working hard at trying to write about one specific topic in each post. I also hope to provide some useful and valuable information by sharing my experiences with others.

Please feel free to leave comments on this, or any of my past or future posts!

Making Money Online with Internet Marketing

Recently I have been trying to start an online business and Make a little bit of extra income with Internet marketing because I am only part time at Disneyland and during the slow months I don't really get that many hours and it makes it hard to have enough money for rent and bills and I don't want to have to struggle to pay my bills. I would like to have financial freedom where I don't worry about if I will have enough money for my rent or my cable bill or my phone bill or the other bills including money to eat.

So around the time that I moved into my new apartment closer to work at Disneyland I decided to start my online business. This part is a story for another post but short version is I got myself into some debt trying to get started.

Then I came across the free DVD from Lee McIntyre for his 2 day Inside Out Upside Down Manchester Workshop. Since I already knew it would be full of some great value I decided to get it sent right away since the shipping was only $6.95 something that I could easily afford. I also was given the 14 day trial to the Point and Click Coaching Program. I just could not give it up even when I knew that I would barely have enough money to pay my bills. So this is the main purpose of this post, I haven't made any affiliate sales yet but I have been doing lots of research and learning and getting as many of the free reports from many of the blogs that he listed as high traffic blogs to go comment on to drive traffic.

But I was looking at my google analytics account and I saw that I was actually getting Organic traffic from google and I wanted to find out what page on google it was on so I looked in my analytics at which keywords it ranked for and then I did the search on google.

I could not believe that my little review blog had been ranked on the second page of Google for the keyword point and click coaching. I did write about 5 articles linking back to it on ezine articles and I had submitted to some blog carnivals but I have just received my first acceptance to a blog carnival and I was happy about that as well.

I still have yet to make my first affiliate sale and it looks like I might need to continue to work on driving traffic.

I was just getting ready to try to start implementing the list building process that Jit Uppal and Adam Spiel have create some free training videos on.

Also I was starting to think that I might not want to use Article marketing but then I do love to write. My main reason was I wasn't sure if I was doing my keyword research correctly. But I think I might keep working at it.

I look forward to getting to the point where I finally am able to create my own information products and sell those to give me the financial freedom that I dream of so I can eliminate my debt and buy my dream home and live the life of my dreams.

45 lessons life taught me By Regina Brett

Written By Regina Brett, 90 years old, of The Plain Dealer, Cleveland , Ohio."To celebrate growing older, I once wrote the 45 lessons life taught me. It is the most-requested column I've ever written. My odometer rolled over to 90 in August, so here is the column once more:
1. Life isn't fair, but it's still good. 2. When in doubt, just take the next small step.
3. Life is too short to waste time hating anyone.
4. Your job won't take care of you when you are sick. Your friends and parents will. Stay in touch.
5. Pay off your credit cards every month.
6. You don't have to win every argument. Agree to disagree.
7. Cry with someone. It's more healing than crying alone.
8. It's OK to get angry with God. He can take it.
9. Save for retirement starting with your first pay check.
10. When it comes to chocolate, resistance is futile.
11. Make peace with your past so it won't screw up the present.
12. It's OK to let your children see you cry.
13. Don't compare your life to others. You have no idea what their journey is all about.
14. If a relationship has to be a secret, you shouldn't be in it.
15. Everything can change in the blink of an eye. But don't worry; God never blinks.
16. Take a deep breath. It calms the mind.
17. Get rid of anything that isn't useful, beautiful or joyful.
18. Whatever doesn't kill you really does make you stronger.
19. it’s never too late to have a happy childhood. But the second one is up to you and no one else.
20. When it comes to going after what you love in life, don't take no for an answer.
21. Burn the candles, use the nice sheets, wear the fancy lingerie. Don't save it for a special occasion. Today is special.
22. Over prepare, and then go with the flow.
23. Be eccentric now. Don't wait for old age to wear purple.
24. The most important sex organ is the brain.
25. No one is in charge of your happiness but you.
26. Frame every so-called disaster with these words: 'In five years, will this matter?'
27. Always choose life.
28. Forgive everyone everything.
29. What other people think of you is none of your business.
30. Time heals almost everything. Give time time.
31. However good or bad a situation is, it will change.
32. Don't take yourself so seriously. No one else does.
33. Believe in miracles.
34. God loves you because of who God is, not because of anything you did or didn't do.
35. Don't audit life. Show up and make the most of it now.
36. Growing old beats the alternative -- dying young.
37. Your children get only one childhood.
38. All that truly matters in the end is that you loved.
39. Get outside every day. Miracles are waiting everywhere.
40. If we all threw our problems in a pile and saw everyone else's, we'd grab ours back.
41. Envy is a waste of time. You already have all you need.
42. The best is yet to come.
43. No matter how you feel, get up, dress up and show up.
44. Yield.
45. Life isn't tied with a bow, but it's still a gift."
